CARBON FORESTS

We support carbon project developers by restoring degraded land through forest-first approaches grounded in science. We prioritize biodiversity and local community integration as the foundation for long-term ecosystem resilience, with carbon sequestration emerging as a measurable outcome of high-quality restoration.

Deliver high-quality projects
with MORFO

Rely on MORFO’s expertise in forest ecosystem restoration. As specialists in large-scale, science-based restoration, we help deliver high-quality projects where biodiversity and social impact come first, and carbon sequestration is a measurable outcome. Our mission is to create lasting environmental and social value through resilient forest restoration.

Why replant
with morfo?

MORFO’s all-in-one restoration solution supports carbon project developers across the full project lifecycle, including terrain analysis, planting, monitoring, and the integration of socio-economic benefits. Our approach is designed to deliver compliant, scalable, and long-term forest restoration outcomes.

Our soil
regeneration
METHOD

Drone and field analysis assess physical, chemical, and biological soil conditions to inform a site-specific regeneration strategy.

Soil & ecosystem diagnosis

We select native and productive species to restore fertility, stabilize the soil, and reintroduce biodiversity.

Ecological design

Using seedpods, drones, and local partnerships, we accelerate natural regeneration and integrate agro-ecological practices.

Regenerative implementation

AI-powered monitoring tracks soil health, carbon sequestration, and productivity to ensure lasting impact and land value growth.

Monitoring & value creation

How to work with morfo

01

Land presentation

Present MORFO with the land where you intend to initiate a forest ecosystem restoration project, enabling an initial assessment of ecological feasibility and potential carbon outcomes.
02

pre-analysis

MORFO conducts a pre-analysis of the land and the project’s socio-economic context. We present our findings alongside the proposed restoration approach, estimated project costs, and indicative carbon stock potential.
03

Certification

An independent third party, or a designated project stakeholder, ensures accurate and transparent accounting of carbon sequestration throughout the reforestation project.
04

Reforestation validation

Designated stakeholders validate the pre-analysis, project costs, restoration methodology, and the duration of long-term follow-up.
05

complete analysis

We perfom an in-depth analysis of the site using soil assessments, drone surveys, and satellite data.
06

planning & planting

Ground preparation is carried out in collaboration with local actors, who benefit from MORFO’s biological expertise and field experience. In coordination with local stakeholders, our researchers select around 20 complementary native species per project. Planting combines drone deployment for efficiency and scalability, with manual planting where relevant. Up to 25% of projects are implemented by hand in partnership with local NGOs.
07

maintenance

We ensure the forest's long-term development by focusing on restoring plant biodiversity, as well as biomass growth.
08

carbon tracking

MORFO and the independent third party integrate project data into a rigorous monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) process to assess carbon sequestration and support credit issuance.

WHY USE
MORFO's CARBON CREDITS?

We collaborate with companies, projects and NGOs. Invest wisely in truly sustainable initiatives and help create local jobs (seed collection, nurseries, monitoring) and forests with a positive social impact (food, economic activities, depollution, water resources)

MORFO’s carbon credits are underpinned by strict biodiversity criteria. Each project integrates more than 20 native species on average, selected from a catalog of over 600 species. This biodiversity-first approach strengthens ecosystem resilience and supports the long-term integrity of carbon sequestration.

More than just restoring forests, we're restoring plant and animal biodiversity, improving air quality and limiting erosion.

Thanks to the use of seedpods and drones, we are able to increase the survival rate of seeds (80% on average in the laboratory). In a context of seed shortage, we therefore need far fewer seeds than other techniques. Thus, MORFO makes it possible to restore more hectares.

MORFO has its own scientific research laboratory. We have also created several research programs with laboratories in Brazil and Europe to constantly increase the success of our projects.

Our drones can be quickly deployed, on a wide range of sites, in record time. On average, our projects start within 2 months. The first planting takes place within the next 6 months. Most importantly, we can plant up to 50 hectares a day.

At every stage of the project and for 30 years after planting, you have access to all your project's progess data. We directly measure all the indicators needed for your projects and share them on a dashboard that can be accessed at any time.

Forests store a third of the earth's carbon, mainly in tropical and subtropical forests. According to data from the University of California at Berkeley, only 3% of carbon credits remove carbon from the atmosphere, and almost all of these come from afforestation, reforestation and revegetation (ARR) projects.

Morfo's mission

Contribute to the fight against climate change by restoring biodiverse forest ecosystems with strong social impact, leveraging three core innovation pillars: scientific R&D, artificial intelligence and technology drones.

Your MORFO Certificate Project has a quantifiable, living impact that could not have happened without your investment. It's an opportunity to give back, build trust and inspire those around you for decades to come.

All Your Forest Data in One Integrated Platform

DASHBOARD

MORFO’s customers and stakeholders have direct access to a project dashboard, providing transparent, traceable data, imagery, and reports.

This enables real-time performance tracking, adaptive management, and continuous monitoring, supporting measurable impact and long-term project value.

FREQUENTLY
ASKED
QUESTIONS

How does MORFO’s soil regeneration solution work?

MORFO’s soil regeneration solution is based on a science-driven approach that integrates soil diagnostics, seedpods, artificial intelligence, and drone technology. This integrated methodology restores soil fertility, supports biodiversity recovery, and enables long-term, measurable ecosystem regeneration.

Can I integrate productive systems after regeneration?

Yes. We design transitions to productive agriculture, ILPF and agroforestry systems that increase productivity sustainably, while sequestering carbon in the soil.

What are the financial benefits?

Potential benefits include improved land value, enhanced soil productivity, and, where applicable, carbon-related revenues derived from regenerated ecosystems.

Why use seedpods?

Seeds are deployed using protective seed capsules designed to support early establishment in degraded environments. These capsules contain biological and nutritional elements that help seeds withstand field conditions and support early growth.

Seedpods offer three main advantages:
– Seed protection: capsules shield seeds from external stressors, preserving viability.
– Early-stage nutrition: capsules provide nutrients that support seedlings during initial development.
– Soil regeneration support: the method contributes to improving degraded soil conditions and overall ecosystem recovery.

MORFO conducts continuous R&D through in-house laboratories and research partnerships to select the most suitable species for each project. Our catalog includes over 600 native species studied or under evaluation, selected based on a minimum set of ecological and operational criteria.
