Request an InvitationRight next to the Convention Center, this restoration site is the best opportunity to truly understand how we bring life back to the land.
Explore how seed collection networks, careful planting, and AI-powered monitoring work together to transform degraded land—step by step—into thriving ecosystems.
MORFO’s technologies don’t just restore forests—they create jobs and new income streams. With more than 1,200 positions already generated in seed collection, monitoring, and planting, restoration is fueling a vibrant local economy.
AND GOOGLE
MORFO joined Google’s Startups for Sustainable Development (SFSD) program three years ago. Since then, the two have partnered to accelerate forest restoration using AI and biodiversity intelligence.
Come see how we’re bringing science and technology together to rebuild the Amazon.
THIS IS THE FIelD WHERE COP MEETS THE FOREST
Our guided experience lasts about 60 minutes—an immersive journey from degraded land to a forest under active restoration.

An experience
designed for you

I'm A CORPORATE
At our Flagship site, you will see restoration technologies and operations firsthand—how drones accelerate planting, how biodiversity is planned, and how ecosystems are monitored for compliance.
You will meet MORFO’s operations directors and leave with practical insights: a roadmap that can be adapted to your own land or to meet your own emission reduction targets.

I'm a scientist
Restoration projects often look convincing on paper, but field reality is where theories are tested. At this Restoration site, you will see how scientific research translates into operational methods that scale. Biodiversity planning, seed ecology, and soil diagnostics are combined with AI tools that monitor growth, detect exotic species, and even capture bioacoustic data. This is a living laboratory where ecological models are applied, challenged, and refined in real time.
You will meet practitioners applying seed-based reforestation in tropical conditions, see how survival rates are measured, and exchange perspectives with local partners managing seed networks and agroforestry systems.
Beyond observing, this visit creates space for collaboration.
I'm a journalist
COP30 will generate thousands of headlines and countless panels, but very few stories will happen in the forest itself.
This Restoration site gives you rare access to raw, visual, and authentic content: drones flying overhead, seed capsules in the air, scientists analyzing data, and local communities collecting seeds.
You’ll meet voices that rarely make it into conference halls—women leading seed networks, young ecologists, and community leaders restoring their land.
For journalists and influencers, this is the chance to capture biodiversity, science, and human stories all in one place, just minutes away from the main COP venue.

I'm an investor
Nature-based solutions are quickly becoming a major part of sustainable portfolios, yet most investment decisions still suffer from one gap: seeing how capital truly translates into measurable impact on the ground. At this Restoration site, you can connect finance with reality.
For investors, this is an opportunity to evaluate both environmental and financial returns. You’ll understand how projects are structured to align with carbon markets, compliance regulations, and long-term value creation.
You will also meet the local partners making these returns possible—seed networks, community associations, and technical teams—offering a clear picture of where your money goes and how it multiplies. This experience is more than a field visit; it’s due diligence in action. It shows you how capital can de-risk early-stage restoration, unlock large-scale projects, and accelerate climate-positive portfolios in Brazil and beyond.

Witness live demos
Our AI tools, developed in partnership with Google, will be on display. This includes the Seedling Drone ID pilot, which uses AI to identify seedlings and exotic species . We will also demonstrate our Bioacoustic pilot, which creates a cost-effective method for biodiversity monitoring.
experience Change Growing
At this Restoration site, you will see the difference restoration makes—walking from degraded land to areas already brought back to life. Beyond the before-and-after, you will meet the professionals who make it possible: ecologists, drone operators, and community partners who turn science and technology into real forests.
Want to go beyond the visit?
Join the Amazon 500 Challenge — a large-scale reforestation effort in Belém led by MORFO and four local NGOs.
Together, we’re restoring 500 hectares: 400 hectares of fire-damaged forest and 100 hectares of agroforestry systems with local farmers.

FREQUENTLY
ASKED
QUESTIONS
In case of heavy rain, the demonstration will have to be rescheduled.
Yes. Free shuttle service will connect the COP30 venue and the Embrapa AgriZone site (10 minutes away). Directions and schedules will be provided upon confirmation.
Each guided session lasts approximately 60 minutes.
Groups are kept small (10 participants) to ensure an immersive and interactive experience.
No, it is a walk of approximately 300 meters on flat ground.
To visit our restoration area, it is recommended to wear long pants. Depending on the weather, you should also bring a light rain jacket or a hat for sun protection. If you don’t have one, MORFO can provide it. Sunglasses can also be useful.
Not for the moment.
Yes. Guests are encouraged to capture and share the experience!
Due to ultra-limited capacity, we recommend early booking. If a track is full, alternative times may be offered subject to availability.
Two ways to get involved:1. Sponsor hectares in MORFO’s Amazon 500 ha Challenge, the largest AI-powered reforestation project in the Amazon.
The project is rooted in the heart of COP30: 500 hectares around Belém—400 hectares of ecological forest restoration and 100 hectares of agroforestry systems. It combines agroecology and ecological restoration while engaging local smallholder farmers to recover land degraded by fires and the lack of technical support for sustainable practices.2. Join MORFO’s network of partners, scientists, and investors driving large-scale restoration.
