Meet your restoration obligation, documented and at lower cost.

MORFO reads your site, brings the cost of the works down, and delivers an audit-ready result you can put in front of a regulator.

Built for the authorities that sign off restoration.

MORFO produces the compliance file the way the reviewing agency expects it. Examples of the regulators our work has answered to:

Agency marks identify the regulatory frameworks MORFO works within; they do not imply endorsement. IBAMA, CETESB and ICMBio marks via Wikimedia Commons (CC BY-SA 2.0, CC BY-SA 4.0, public domain); MMA, SEMA-PA, IMASUL-MS and INEA-RJ marks from the agencies.

Your restoration has to hold, and it has to pass the audit.

1

Obligation

What the regulator requires, on which areas and to what standard, is often unclear at the start.

2

Scoped

Landing a compliant, approvable plan is slow and costly, with real risk of a plan that does not hold.

3

Executed

The works run across seasons and operators, where mortality and invasive grasses decide whether it holds.

4

Documented

Years of monitoring and audit-ready reporting, to a standard a verifier will accept.

5

Accepted

The obligation stays on you until the regulator signs it off, and it fails on you if the result does not hold.

See what your site requires, and what it costs.

Lower total cost across the obligation period, not just a cheaper first campaign.

MORFO reads the site and sorts it zone by zone before any work begins: what to plant, what to let regenerate, what to leave. The work becomes a mapped, costed scope, and treating only what needs treating holds the cost down.

On one project, the right method mix cut the cost per hectare by 34% at equal perimeter, part of the 60,000+ hectares MORFO has analysed. And the cost that decides a compliance project is the total across the years of replanting and maintenance, which is where the guarantee changes the number.

Mechanical control first, targeted chemical control only where it is needed.

Get the works done, and held to target.

MORFO runs the works and answers for the result.

MORFO selects and coordinates the operators, plans the campaign zone by zone, and holds the calendar. Mortality and invasive grasses are read from the first months, so a correction happens while it is still cheap.

2,142 hectares under management across 27 projects and three biomes, under the same operating routine.

MORFO prepares the technical dossier, and you stay the formal interlocutor with the regulator.

At each step, MORFO lowers the risk and the cost of the works the regulator requires.

One case, closed

Crique Korossibo, French Guiana.

An alluvial gold-mining site, stripped to bare, highly acidic ground and reachable only by air. MORFO seeded it by drone in February 2022 and monitored it every year after.

Four years on, the cover is continuous and NDVI-confirmed, and the environmental authorities validated the rehabilitation.
